The Sweet Revenge of Celia Door by Karen Finneyfrock

That's the day the trouble started.
The trouble that nearly ruined my life.
The trouble that turned me Dark.
The trouble that begs me for revenge.

Celia Door enters her freshman year of high school with giant boots, dark eyeliner, and a thirst for revenge against Sandy Firestone, the girl who did something unspeakable to Celia last year.

But then Celia meets Drake, the cool new kid from New York City who entrusts her with his deepest, darkest secret. When Celia's quest for justice threatens her relationship with Drake, she's forced to decide which is sweeter: revenge or friendship.

  4. Everything. I'm afraid he won't love me for me. I'm afraid I won't love him for him. I'm afraid I'll get stuck settling without my realizing it. I'm afraid of failing. I'm afraid of betrayal. Basically, I'm a giant commitmentphobe. I'm working on it, haha.

  5. I have met and been completely impressed with Karen in her work with poets at my alma mater, Nathan Hale High School in Seattle. This chick is the real deal. I can't wait to read her book.

Biggest relationship fear? Hmm. I've been married to my best friend for 30 years, so not a lot of fear there. Fear of being broke, maybe? 'cuz that's always challenging.

  12. For me, my biggest fear is Trust. I've trusted my ex-husband to spend the rest of our lives together and he let me down. I'm just tired of trusting people and then I get screwed over in the end. Its actually really hard for me to trust anyone any more. Thank you for a chance to win your giveaway!

  18. My biggest fear is trusting issue. If you've ever break up because the other person lies to you then it's hard for you to get into another new relationship. Your trust is broken and it may take a while to heal or never at all.
