Buffer Festival - Louis Cole Interview

Louis John Cole (born 28 April 1983), better known by his online alias FunforLouis, is an English film-maker and YouTube personality from Epsom, Surrey. He has a following of over 1.9 million on YouTube and is best known for posting a daily video blog on the channel FunForLouis which documents his life and travels adventuring all over the globe. Cole originally found fame through filming eating stunts on another channel, FoodForLouis but has since taken these videos down to focus on the positive message and trajectory of FunForLouis where he encourages viewers to "Peace out, enjoy life and live the adventure".

Louis appeared on the BBC TV show called 'Homefront' when he was younger.

In 2007 Cole purchased and renovated a double-decker bus, equipping it as a mobile center to help homeless youth with music and video game facilities. The Boombus project now receives funding from local council wards.

Louis Cole announced his relationship with Raya Encheva with a video titled '1000th vlog w/ my girlfriend'.

Discovery signed Cole to its Digital Seeker Network in 2015.

Cole appeared on stage at The Photography Show talking about The Power of Social Photography on the 18 March 2017. While on stage he talked about being vegan. Cole has been named a top travel influencer.

n the digital festival world. The legendary Ricardo Montalban Theatre in Hollywood will play host to the one day event where top creators will screen exclusive video premieres, take questions, and discuss the challenges and opportunities facing today’s Content Creator.

The day’s festivities will begin with Buffer Festival’s “Insight Series” featuring inspirational talks from some of the world’s leading Creators and industry innovators. This special program will be aimed towards the entertainment industry, aspiring Creators, and anyone who wants to learn from the Creators’ unique perspective. This will be followed by the famous Buffer Festival Red Carpet, where media and attendees will have the opportunity to interact and ask their favorite Content-Makers questions as they arrive for the evening Gala consisting of screenings and live entertainment.

Buffer Festival L.A.’s Insight Series aims to bring together creators and industry executives to openly discuss challenges in collaborating. The key players in the digital space will work together toward setting a standard within the online “elevated” content community. Sessions will contain best practices for working together, elevating content and tales of successes and failures from the creators and brands who “get it.” This program will be hosted by American YouTube Creator and Television Host, Meghan Camarena, and will see the following sessions take place at the Ricardo Montalban Theater in Hollywood.
