2014 was a busy year for Jim as he scored famed author Nicholas Sparks’ first television event for Lifetime titled “Deliverance Creek.” Two projects featuring Jim’s music were also honored with Academy Award nominations, the animated short “Maggie Simpson in The Longest Daycare”, and the live-action short “The Buzkashi Boys”.

In Television, Dooley has written original music for FX’s quirky series “Wilfred,” NBC’s “Mockingbird Lane & “Best Friends Forever,” CW’s “Emily Owens, M.D.” TBS’ satirical animated series, “Neighbors from Hell,” and ABC’s critically acclaimed series, “Pushing Daisies,” for which Dooley earned a 2008 Primetime Emmy Award for “Best Original Music Composition for a Series.”
