ALL THESE BODIES BY KENDARE BLAKE - STORYTELLERS BOX
Sixteen bloodless bodies. Two teenagers. One impossible explanation.

Summer 1958—a string of murders plagues the Midwest. The victims are found in their cars and in their homes—even in their beds—their bodies drained, but with no blood anywhere.

September 19- the Carlson family is slaughtered in their Minnesota farmhouse, and the case gets its first lead: 15-year-old Marie Catherine Hale is found at the scene. She is covered in blood from head to toe, and at first she’s mistaken for a survivor. But not a drop of the blood is hers.

Michael Jensen, son of the local sheriff, yearns to become a journalist and escape his small-town. He never imagined that the biggest story in the country would fall into his lap, or that he would be pulled into the investigation, when Marie decides that he is the only one she will confess to.

As Marie recounts her version of the story, it falls to Michael to find the truth: What really happened the night that the Carlsons were killed? And how did one girl wind up in the middle of all these bodies?

It was the first time i ever met my neighbors wife.

  27. My most memorable Thanksgiving was the year I was pregnant with our son. He was due around that time so we weren’t able to travel to my husband’s parents house where we would usually go! Everyone was so excited about the impeding arrival, that’s what made it special.

  28. My most memorable Thanksgiving was the year my sister was VERY pregnant with my nephew. My niece managed to place 10 tiny turkey name card holders (made from an egg carton) onto my sister's belly without any of them falling off. My niece was so proud of herself and my sister looked like she was a momma hen had her gaggle with her.

  32. My first one with hubby--44 years ago. I wasn't going to ask how to cook a turkey, so I thought I'd wing it. I stuffed it, basted, and it looked great. Time to eat, he was carving it, started to take the stuffing out ot the cavity, when this horrible, nasty-looking stuff burst out of a small paper bag. The giblets!! I hadn't realized that the giblets were stored in the cavity, along with the neck. Was I ever embarrassed!
