Buffer Festival - Anna Brisbin Interview

Anna Brisbin is an American YouTuber best known for creating videos of herself performing voiceovers and funny impressions of animation characters. She also occasionally posts videos on crafts, makeup tutorials, hauls, challenges, games and songs on her channel. In addition, Brisbin has a side channel titled 'BrizzyVlogs' on which she uploads general vlogs. She is a huge fan of Harry Porter and has uploaded several videos on her favorite characters from the movie series. She is a graduate of the New York University. She grew up watching cartoons from the 1990s and developed a deep passion for them. Coming to Brisbin’s personal life, the South Carolina-born YouTuber is a very bubbly and charming girl. She loves to act crazy most of the time and this is one of the main reasons her channel is watched by millions. She also enjoys partying and travelling in her leisure time.

Anna Brisbin created her main channel ‘Brizzy Voices’ on May 31, 2012. Since then, she has been posting crazy yet appealing videos on it. Her channel has everything from crazy voice impressions and voice challenges to character-inspired makeup tutorials, funny games, and challenges.

Some of the popular videos on this channel are 'Voice ALL the Original Pokemon', 'Disney Princess Impressions' and 'YouTuber Impressions'. The first video is Brisbin’s most popular video. Having over 24 million views till date, this video features Brisbin voicing all the Pokemon characters. The other two videos, with over 8.4 million views and more than 3.3 million views, feature various impressions of Disney princesses and YouTubers respectively.

Brisbin has done more than 12 makeup and hair tutorials related to famous characters, such as Ariel from The Little Mermaid, Bellatrix Lestrange from Harry Potter, Effie Trinket from The Hunger Games and Harley Quinn from DC. In addition, she has done multiple covers of popular songs, including ‘After Ever After’ by Jon Cozart, ‘Belle’ from ‘Beauty and the Beast,’ ‘Do You Want to Build a Snowman’ from ‘Frozen’ and ‘Impressions’ from ‘Alice in Wonderland.’ She uploaded a photo booth challenge video with fellow YouTuber Catie Wayne in 2015. Coming to the popularity of Brizzy Voices, this channel has accumulated over 1.8 million subscribers and more than 245 million views (as of May 2018).

Brisbin’s side channel, which was launched in August 2012, features vlogs concerning her routine day-to-day life. This channel, titled 'BrizzyVlogs,’ is followed by more than 161k people as of now.

Anna Brisbin was born on September 13, 1991 in South Carolina, the USA. She has an elder sister. She studied at the New York University and graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree. Brisbin is good friends with fellow YouTubers Tessa Netting and Smosh. She often collaborates with them for her YouTube videos. The YouTuber, who is a diehard fan of Harry Potter, can be often seen wearing a Deathly Hallows necklace. She has starred in a few short films including ‘Dreamstone’ and ‘Pixey’ as well.
