Buffer Festival - Hannah Witton Interview

Hannah Witton is a British YouTuber, broadcaster, and author. Witton creates video blogs and informational content, mostly based around relationships, sex and sexual health, liberation and welfare issues, literature, and travel.[3] Witton's debut book, Doing It, concentrating on sex and relationships, was released on 6 April 2017

Witton began creating YouTube videos on 17 April 2011 as Hannah "Girasol".

In November 2016, Witton was named one of eight Girls' Champions as part of the BBC's 100 Women campaign. This was in recognition of her videos helping young women with sexual health and relationships.


Witton's first book was released on 6 April 2017, titled Doing It!, under the Wren and Rook imprint. The book concentrates on Sex and Relationships, including Hannah's own experiences and those of her friends. It rose to be Amazon UK's number 1 best seller in the Social Issues category



Buffer Festival L.A.’s Insight Series aims to bring together creators and industry executives to openly discuss challenges in collaborating. The key players in the digital space will work together toward setting a standard within the online “elevated” content community. Sessions will contain best practices for working together, elevating content and tales of successes and failures from the creators and brands who “get it.” This program will be hosted by American YouTube Creator and Television Host, Meghan Camarena, and will see the following sessions take place at the Ricardo Montalban Theater in Hollywood.

The day’s festivities will begin with Buffer Festival’s “Insight Series” featuring inspirational talks from some of the world’s leading Creators and industry innovators. This special program will be aimed towards the entertainment industry, aspiring Creators, and anyone who wants to learn from the Creators’ unique perspective. This will be followed by the famous Buffer Festival Red Carpet, where media and attendees will have the opportunity to interact and ask their favorite Content-Makers questions as they arrive for the evening Gala consisting of screenings and live entertainment.
