Todd Nauck is a well known artist of the comic book industry and works regularly for Marvel and DC Comics, with credits including Amazing Spider-Man, FriendlyNeighborhood Spider-Man, Teen Titans Go, Young Justice, Nightcrawler, and Deadpool: Too Soon? as well as countless others.

Todd Nauck is the artist of the best selling comic book of the last decade, Amazing Spider-Man #583: the Spider-Man/Barack Obama Team-Up. Nauck also is the artist of the children’s books The Amazing Spider-Man Storybook Collection, 5-Minute Marvels, This is Spider-Man, Spider-Man vs. The Lizard, and Spider-Man vs. Mysterio by Disney Publishing. Nauck’s art was also prominently featured on the season 8 finale of ABC’s Extreme Makeover: Home Edition as well as on episodes of ESPN’s NFL Sunday Countdown and SportsCenter.

Todd Nauck has done work for Robert Kirkman’s superhero titles Invincible Universe and Guarding the Globe at Image Comics and the X-Men series Nightcrawler written by legendary X-Men writer, Chris Claremont, for Marvel Comics. Other recent comics on shelves are Deadpool: Too Soon and Spider-Man: Homecoming Prelude both now in trade paperback. He is currently drawing Spider-man/Deadpool for Marvel Comics.

ECCC - Sun Dogs - Jennifer Morrison Interview



Jennifer Marie Morrison was born in Chicago, Illinois, the oldest child of teachers David and Judy Morrison. She was raised in Arlington Heights, IL, with a younger sister and brother. She attended the same school her parents taught at, Prospect High School. As a child, she did some work as a model. After graduating from high school, she attended Loyola University in Chicago, where she studied Theater and English. She then moved on to study at the Steppenwolf Theater Company, before relocating to Los Angeles, California to pursue her acting career. Morrison's movie debut came in 1994, playing the daughter of Richard Gere and Sharon Stone in Intersection (1994). Success followed with various film and television roles, including the lead in Urban Legends: Final Cut (2000). She came to wide scale public attention in 2004 for her role as Dr. Allison Cameron in the television series House (2004), for which she was nominated for a prestigious Screen Actors Guild Award. Since leaving "House M.D.", her career has continued to progress with roles in Star Trek (2009), How I Met Your Mother (2005) and Warrior (2011).

JENNIFER MORRISON TRIVIA:
  • March 2003: Her father, David Morrison, won the Illinois state 2003 teacher of the year award.
  • Attended Prospect High School (class of 1997) and majored in Theatre with a minor in English at Loyola University Chicago. She received her Bachelor's degree in three years; class of 2000.
  • Played clarinet in high school marching and symphonic bands.
  • Former high school cheerleader; sang in her high school choir.
  • Has appeared on the cover of Sports Illustrated for Kids with Michael Jordan when she was around 10 or 11 years old.
  • Is a Chicago Cubs fan.
  • Friends with Ashlee Simpson and has guest-starred on the latter's show on MTV several times.
  • Has portrayed a Ball State University student in commercials for the school titled "Everything You Need", even though she wasn't then and never has been a student at the university.
  • (December 23, 2006) Engaged to her House (2004) co-star Jesse Spencer. He proposed to her at the Eiffel Tower in Paris, France. The engagement ended August 15, 2007.

Jen Wang is a cartoonist, author and illustrator living in Los Angeles. She is the author of The Prince and the Dressmaker, Koko Be Good, and co-author of the New York Times Bestselling graphic novel In Real Life with Cory Doctorow. Her work has also appeared in Los Angeles Magazine, The Believer, Hazlitt, Slate, and McSweeney’s. She has also written for the Adventure Time and Lumberjanes comic series. She is the co-founder and organizer of the annual festival Comics Arts Los Angeles.

ECCC - Tales of Science Fiction - Sandy King Interview

SANDY KING IS AN ARTIST, WRITER, FILM PRODUCER AND PRESIDENT OF STORM KING PRODUCTIONS.

With a background in art, photography and animation, Sandy King’s filmmaking career has included working with John Cassavetes, Francis Ford Coppola, Michael Mann, Walter Hill, John Hughs, and John Carpenter.

She has produced films ranging from public service announcements on Hunger Awareness to a documentary on astronaut/teacher Christa McAuliffe, and major theatrical hits like John Carpenter’s Vampires. From working underwater with sharks in the Bahamas to converting 55 acres of New Mexican desert into the vast, red planet of Mars, new challenges interest and excite her. The world of comic books is no exception. It allows her to bring her art and story telling experience to a new discipline with an expanded group of collaborators.

She is married to director John Carpenter and lives in Hollywood, California.
